DeMarcus Beasley Making a Move This Week

Breaking the news of players lounging by the beach in Miami. That's what you get when you have a stay at home dad reading the USMNT twitters for you. So, after putting in time at his soccer camp in Michigan last week, DeMarcus has some difficult decisions to make.
@DaMarcusBeasley That be the best for you and yours, a hug RT

@DaMarcusBeasley Osasuna, Espanyol, Paris Saint Germain, where you will play the next season?
So, where do you want to see him go?

Personally, I favor France. He's got a better chance of playing regularly since Americans don't seem to be frequently cracking the lineup in Spain. There is also the outside possibility that he could move back to MLS with the Chicago Fire. The Fire are still talking about picking up another Designated Player before the the month is out, but the salary demands for Beasley may end up being to high. Stay tuned.

  1. As A fire supporter, I say forget it. Waste of $ and DP spot. Why not continue with developing promising young talent, trading or not resigning them, then rolling with mexicanos with attitudes and hope for the best? Beasley probably should hit France, has been good for our players. They seem to get a lot of PT and exposed to UEFA. Denmark the other pace where we seem to have success abroad and our players develop decently over there (Feilhaber, Goodsen). Problem with MLS is the slow play and lack of intensity or good football technical training. He can go there in about 2-3 years.
