Kansas City v Manchester United Highlights

If you haven't figured it out by now, it's a highlights kind of day. Spurs drew Sporting Lisbon, Man City got bashed by the Red Bulls and now Man U loses to... wait for it... Kansas City. Yeah, 2-1. Now granted, ManU wasn't playing all their starters, but they did have several in the lineup, so this is still a bit of a shocker to me.

  1. Hey, Mr. X, you weren't going to mention that Man U's goal came on a penalty kick, and that Kansas City played more than half the game with ten men after Jimmy Conrad's red card in the 41st (the one that resulted in Berbatov's PK goal)! Not only did KC win, they won 10 vs 11.

Kei Kamara of Sierra Leone got the winning goal 10 on 11, also. You remember Kei Kamara, right? Search YouTube for "worst miss of the century"
or just for "Kei Kamara" - technically it wasn't a miss, rather, it was a handball. It worked for Thierry Henry and Diego Maradona.

The KC Wiz report that they sold 700 new season tickets after the exhibition win. And good for them. Middle America realizes this league in our backyard is actually pretty good.
