Now I know you are saying to yourself... where's Bradley Jr.? Where is Adu if he just started back in MLS? And where is Bradley Sr.'s buddy Ricardo Clark?

Well, to answer that, junior can't even get starting time, let alone the travel team as of late for Borussia Mongladbach and the coach there stated that Bradley will be sold or cut loose, because he's never playing for them again. Clark, well, he sucks, and Adu, we got our looks at him, he's on the radar, but time to see the euro players and some of the other MLS (not in that order).

Bill Hamid is getting another chance for a look. Is he a future USMNT guy in the goal? Not sure yet. And I know some of you are glad to see Timmy Chandler called in as well as Bunbury, Rogers and Loyd.

But I know you are scratching your head wondering, 'who the hell is Fabian Johnson?" Well, there is a good article here, about him. He plays the all important weak spot on the USMNT... left back and... he also plays a mean left wing. So far this season for Hoffenheim, in the Bundesliga, he's put in a goal in just 6 minutes of action in the German Cup. He's bounced around some, never really establishing himself until he got to Hoffenheim. Apparently, he's a late bloomer, because he's been tearing it up ever since. And since he has an American parent... da dah da dah! We get to call him up.

You may wonder about Fabian's credentials. Finalist in the U21 Euro Championships 2 years ago work? How about the fact that he is young and faster than anything we have at left back? I know we have him listed as a mid, but we'll most likely use him back there as he plays that position for Hoffenheim. Hoffenheim... hmmm, that name rings a bell. Of course, it's because we also have Charles Renken and Gyau, future USMNT players playing on their U19 and U23 squads respectively. Keep an eye out for them and this surprisingly "American" Bundesliga club.

  1. Did you hear that Jozy scored two goals Sunday against NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie and then scored two goals again yesterday in the Europa League qualifier against Aalesund of Norway?
