Interim managed Sunderland couldn't have been happier with a Gardner 5' goal. The problem is, it's a game of two halves and little know 18yo Belgian, Adnan Januzaj, who has previously been playing for the Man U youth teams since he signed from Anderlecht two years ago. Januzaj drops 2 on Sunderland in a matter of 6 minutes and Man U stave off Sunderland.
As quick sidenotes to the game, Januzaj is eligible to play for Belgium (he's played up through their NT youth teams), Albania, and Serbia (and even Kosovo since his parents technically hail from there). Additionally, Sunderland seems to have convinced Poyet that a 2yr contract in the EPL with a promising team is a good choice. I guess that may be true as it's only two years so they aren't on the hook for much if he fails, and if he succeeds, he can be re-upped.

Yacob scores for West Brom in the dying minutes of the 1st half, and suddenly, Arsenal look like they might be in trouble. Lucky for them Wilshire gets a little worried about it and equalizes in the 63'. This game was surprisingly closer than it should have been for the Gunners, so they may have to watch it in the future, lest they blow easy points and cost themselves their chance at a title in the Manchester era.
Hazard and new signing Willian with last second goals for Chelsea to push them over Norwich despite a 2nd half equalizer from Pilkington and Nowrich. Oscar with the early goal that the Blues were happy to sit back on and almost cost themselves the 3pts.
Spurs... could have moved a little closer to the top, but no, at home, you completely implode as West Ham look like world beaters. Reid, Vaz Te and Morrison all score 2nd half goals (one via the nutmeg) to not only win, but pants Spurs in from of the home crowd at White Hart Lane.

It was all first half Liverpool as they were up 3-0 before the half on goals from Suarez (returning from his 10 game ban from last season), Sturridge, and a pk from Gerrard to finish the game off. Gayle's token goal for Crystal Palace at least made the scoreline bearable.
